Basically, Practical UVM is not available as an Ebook. Read on!
There are any number of site-bots which are mining this website and presenting the PDF files from the site as actual e-books and trying to get your personal and credit card information.
This is nothing more than a waste of your time. Please do not get fooled by this. I have not released any ebooks due to the reasons below.
I have had some challenges with e-book editions. While it looks fine on a PC or a laptop, Because this book is a bit dense, it doesn’t render well on most e-book readers. The book is written in LATEX and is rendered to the target Amazon Createspace template. The book is fairly heavily formatted using formatting rules in Latex to avoid problems with publishing.
Most of this is lost on many of the ebook readers. On some readers, the file is not viewed well at all. See these images:
Amazon offers a conversion service to convert it to their format, which is through an outside vendor. I have to pay a “conversion” fee based on the number of words to support . in my case, it was about $2473. I do not make that kind of money from these books to warrant paying such high costs (see the FAQ for more details).
Without the conversion, Whoever purchases the e-book is going to have such a bad experience that it’s not worth it.
Since Amazon has changed it’s technology, this what I get from the Amazon Proof for the second edition of the book.

I’m sure you’ll agree that this is not usable on an IPAD or a computer either. I’ve asked Amazon support for a better way to do this. When they let me know, I’ll look into this further.
